SpinQ Technology announced the successful completion of a 600 million yuan Series C+ funding round. This capital infusion follows the company's Series C round in January 2026, marking the second major investment received within months. The total amount raised in the Series C rounds now approaches 10 billion yuan, representing another significant financing event in China's quantum computing sector.
New investors in this round include Cornerstone Capital, Guotai Junan Innovation Investment, Sichuan Zhenxing Group, Chengdu Tianchuang Tou, Jinding Capital, Caitong Capital, and Sichuan Jinduo. Existing shareholders, such as Yida Capital and Huaqiang Capital, continued their participation with follow-on investments. The involvement of multiple state-owned and industrial capital entities highlights the financial market's growing interest in the quantum computing hardware technology field. This investment provides crucial financial and industrial resource support for the company's efforts in domesticating core technologies and achieving large-scale industrial application. It is reported that the company has concurrently initiated a Pre-IPO funding round, with Gengxin Capital acting as the strategic financing advisor for this round.
The newly raised capital will be primarily allocated to the research, development, and iteration of high-bit superconducting quantum chips, the expansion of large-scale production lines, and the expansion of its global commercial footprint, thereby advancing the large-scale industrial application of quantum computing.
SpinQ Technology is a quantum computing company that uniquely pursues both "superconducting" and "nuclear magnetic resonance" technical pathways. Centered on this dual approach, the company has established three main business segments: industrial-grade superconducting quantum computing hardware, education-grade nuclear magnetic resonance quantum computing hardware, and software and cloud platforms. These segments cover quantum service scenarios ranging from basic scientific research to industrial applications, and from hardware to software, creating an operational model where commercial revenue fuels further technology research and development. Simultaneously, the company's products and services have reached over 40 countries and regions worldwide, serving more than 200 universities, research institutions, and enterprises.
In the field of superconducting quantum computing, the company has achieved milestones including the first overseas delivery of a superconducting quantum chip and the first overseas delivery of a complete superconducting quantum computer system from China. In 2025, it delivered multiple "Ursa Major" superconducting quantum computing systems. In the domain of universal quantum computing, SpinQ Technology has established a comprehensive technological chain encompassing quantum chip design, measurement and control system development, system integration, algorithm and software development, and quantum error correction technology. This has resulted in a synergistic R&D system integrating "hardware, algorithms, and control," providing support for the implementation of large-scale quantum algorithms.
