AI X TECH (01490) announced that following the approval of a special resolution by shareholders at an extraordinary general meeting held on March 27, 2026, to remove the company's Chinese name, the Cayman Islands Registrar of Companies issued a certificate of registration of change of name on April 8, 2026. This certifies that the Chinese name "车市科技有限公司" has been deleted, and this change has been recorded in the register maintained by the Registrar of Companies of the Cayman Islands, effective from April 8, 2026. The company's English name, "AI X Tech Inc.", remains unchanged. The Hong Kong Registrar of Companies issued a certificate of registration of change of name of a non-Hong Kong company on April 30, 2026, confirming that the company's name registered in Hong Kong under Part 16 of the Companies Ordinance (Chapter 622) is "AI X Tech Inc.", and the Chinese name "车市科技有限公司" has been removed. Following the effective removal of the company's Chinese name, the existing Chinese stock abbreviation "车市科技" will no longer be used, while the English stock abbreviation "AI X TECH" remains unchanged, effective from 9:00 a.m. on May 15, 2026. The company's stock code on the Stock Exchange will remain unchanged as "01490". The removal of the company's Chinese name will not affect any rights of shareholders. All issued existing share certificates bearing the company's current name will remain valid as documents of title and will be effective for trading, settlement, registration, and delivery purposes.
