Renxin Technology's Jin Li Advocates for Unified Standards in the Chip Industry to Enable Single Validation for Broad Acceptance

Deep News06-13 20:11

At the 2026 China Automotive Chongqing Forum held from June 12th to 13th, Jin Li, Product Vice President of Renxin Technology Co., Ltd., delivered a speech.

Jin Li noted that domestic chips focus on design in the initial stages, but subsequently face the challenge of rapidly scaling up supply capacity to meet customer demand. Renxin Technology is currently navigating this phase, concentrating efforts in two primary areas.

Initial Strategic Focus

The first strategy involves enhancing collaboration with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers. The goal is to leverage intelligent capabilities to gather novel ideas and requirements, thereby ensuring chips are competitive from their very inception.

Secondary Strategic Focus

The second initiative is to promote the establishment of new chip standards within the domestic industry.

Addressing Industry Inefficiency

Jin Li highlighted a prevalent issue: the content of DV/PV (Design Verification/Production Verification) testing across the A+, B+, and C+ phases is often very similar, leading to significant resource wastage.

Proposed Solution for Efficiency

He proposed that if the industry could establish certain unified standards, a single validation performed by an organization like the China Automotive Chip Industry Innovation Alliance could then receive a degree of recognition from various OEMs. This approach would provide substantial assistance in promoting chips and improving the efficiency of domestic resource utilization.
