HC Env Tech published its fifth Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) report, covering the period from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025 and representing 96.4% of annual revenue.
Board Oversight and Governance • An inter-departmental ESG working group, led by the board, oversees policy execution and target progress. • All directors and 417 employees completed anti-corruption training; no material non-compliance cases were reported.
Environmental Metrics and Targets • Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse-gas emissions totaled 12,051 tCO₂e, below the 26,000-tonne ceiling set for 2025. • Total energy consumption reached 51,985.14 MWh, up 144% year-on-year, driven by new production lines and additional diesel use. • Water consumption fell 15% to 572.11 thousand tonnes after installing water-saving devices. • Hazardous waste jumped to 44.92 tonnes (2024: 2.95 tonnes) due to first-time removal of acid sludge from the sulfuric-acid line; non-hazardous waste fell to 46.18 tonnes. • Emission-reduction goals for 2026 vs 2021 include 3% intensity cuts in air emissions, waste, electricity and water, plus a 3% rise in recycled paper.
Operational Developments • Sulfuric-acid, sulfamic-acid and magnesium-fertiliser lines are fully operational, enabling internal power generation and sales of surplus electricity. • Technology R&D gained multiple recognitions, including inclusion in the PRC Ministry of Natural Resources’ 2025 advanced-technology catalogue.
Workforce and Safety • Total staff increased to 417 (2024: 277); turnover rate was 22.1%. • No work-related fatalities; 84 lost days recorded. • All employees received training, averaging 50.4 hours each, up from 39.5 hours in 2024.
Supply Chain • Supplier base stood at 57, all located in mainland China. • A formal supplier-evaluation system assesses quality, delivery, pricing and ESG risks.
Community Investment • Contributions totaled RMB0.28 million, supporting education, elderly care and public-health initiatives, alongside 46 volunteer hours.
Compliance • No significant violations of environmental, labour, safety, product-quality or anti-corruption laws were identified during the reporting period.
