OMNIVISION (00501) has announced that Dr. Gao Wenbao has been appointed as an Executive Director of the company. The appointment, approved at the Annual General Meeting, is effective from May 7, 2026, and will last until the end of the current Board of Directors' term. Dr. Gao has also been appointed as the company's authorized representative under Rule 3.05 of the Listing Rules, effective from the same date.
