Where is it cheaper to fly during the Mid-Autumn Festival? According to recent checks, taking just one day off to enjoy a 3-day trip, a round-trip flight from Zhuhai to Shanghai is available for only 610 yuan in total. For those willing to take two days off for a 4-day getaway, round-trip flights from Zhuhai to Haikou are priced at just 629 yuan. Alternatively, with just one day off for a 3-day vacation, round-trip tickets from Zhuhai to Fuzhou cost only 678 yuan.

As National Day travel bookings enter their peak period, the overall travel enthusiasm is surpassing previous years. Industry reports indicate that many consumers have already booked their air tickets for the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays. Data from online travel platforms shows that the rush to secure holiday flights in advance is 21% higher than the same period last year, reflecting greater overall travel demand this year.

Zhao Chao, co-lead analyst for the transportation industry at Changjiang Securities, noted that September is traditionally a slow season with ample capacity, and ticket prices are likely to remain at relatively low levels until just before the National Day holiday. However, these low-cost tickets are mostly concentrated on early morning, late-night, or stopover flights, and availability is limited. Fares will also fluctuate in real-time based on travel dates, and as the holidays approach, prices are expected to gradually rise.

Data from the Qunar travel platform shows that as of September 16th, the search volume for keywords like "Mid-Autumn Festival" and "National Day" on the platform has surged by 167% month-on-month. In the past week, bookings for National Day flights and hotels have increased by 56% compared to the previous week, while reservations for popular routes spanning over 2,000 kilometers have doubled year-on-year.
