China Merchants Bank Co., Ltd. has officially announced that the appointments of Li Yungui and Huo Da as non-executive directors have received the green light from the National Financial Regulatory Administration, following the issuance of the respective approval documents. Both appointments took effect on September 22, 2026, with their terms set to conclude upon the expiration of the bank's 13th Board of Directors' term.

In tandem with these new appointments, the bank's board has approved a reshuffle of its specialized committee memberships, effective from the same date. Li Yungui has been appointed as a member of the Board's Strategy and Sustainable Development Committee, while Huo Da has assumed the role of Chairman of the Board's Risk and Capital Management Committee, succeeding Jiang Chaoyang in that capacity.

The adjustments reflect the bank's ongoing commitment to strengthening its governance framework and ensuring robust oversight across its strategic and risk management functions. The transitions are now fully operational as the newly approved directors take up their duties within the existing board structure.
