Litian Pictures Expects FY2026 Net Loss to Narrow Sharply to RMB49–53 Million

Bulletin Express09-28

Litian Pictures Holdings Limited issued a profit warning indicating that it anticipates a consolidated net loss of RMB49.00 million to RMB53.00 million for the 12 months ended 30 June 2026. This compares with a RMB554.10 million net loss reported for the previous 18-month period from 1 January 2024 to 30 June 2025.

Management attributes the significant improvement to two main factors:

1. Impairment on drama series copyrights dropped to about RMB22.00 million, markedly below the RMB202.00 million recorded in the comparative period. 2. A net reversal of impairment losses on trade and other receivables of roughly RMB24.00 million was booked, versus an impairment charge of RMB69.30 million in the prior period.

The company noted that the comparative period covered 18 months, while the reporting period spans 12 months, limiting direct comparability.

Litian Pictures is finalising its audited results, which are scheduled for release on 30 September 2026. Investors are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the company’s securities until the audited figures are published.
