Citigroup stated that the XPeng GX's pricing of 269,800 yuan delivered a positive surprise to the market and is expected to capture market share from models such as the Li Auto L8, the Lynk & Co 09, and the AITO M8. In the near term, the order of preference for automakers is NIO, followed by XPeng Inc., and then Li Auto. Analyst Jeff Chung noted in the report that the new XPeng model is projected to achieve monthly sales of 8,000 to 9,000 units during its maturity phase. In terms of quality and configuration, the model is benchmarked against premium vehicles priced above 300,000 yuan; compared to similarly priced or cheaper competitors, it offers superior craftsmanship and features. XPeng's first-quarter results are anticipated to meet market expectations, whereas Li Auto's performance is likely to fall short of expectations.
