HAIDILAO (06862) saw its share price climb more than 5% following the release of its interim results, with the stock trading 4.65% higher at HK$11.94 at the time of writing, on a turnover of HK$175 million. On August 25, the company published its financial report for the six-month period ending June 30, 2026, revealing total revenue of RMB 22.337 billion, a year-on-year increase of 7.89%. Profit attributable to owners of the company reached RMB 1.767 billion, up 0.47% compared to the same period last year. Core operating profit grew 4.38% to RMB 2.513 billion, while basic earnings per share stood at RMB 0.33. The board has proposed an interim dividend of HK$0.377 per share.

During the reporting period, food delivery emerged as the group's fastest-growing business segment. Revenue from delivery services in the first half totaled RMB 2.051 billion, surging 121.2% year-on-year, with its share of total group revenue rising from 4.5% in the prior-year period to 9.2%.

The growth was driven by two primary factors. First, an expanded product category structure: single-serve meal products, exemplified by the rice bowl offerings, saw significant year-on-year sales growth. This transformation has shifted delivery from being merely an extension of the hotpot experience into a standalone category covering daily meals, with new product lines already in the refinement and market-testing phase. Second, an intensified delivery station network: the group has continued to advance its self-built delivery station model, enhancing coverage density and fulfillment efficiency. This approach has also reduced the strain on in-store kitchen capacity, providing stable support for sustained order growth.
