EAST BUY's F4 Hosts All Depart as Yu Minhong Admits Lack of Humanistic Care in Management

Deep News13:22

The wave of host departures at EAST BUY continues to widen. On the afternoon of April 25, four EAST BUY hosts—Mingming, Tianquan, Zhongcan, and Linlin—successively published lengthy statements on their personal social media platforms announcing their departure from the company. They all mentioned an inability to adapt to the changes within the company over the past few months, with some even expressing feelings of anxiety as a result. Fans had previously referred to Dong Yuhui, Dundun, Mingming, and Tianquan as the "F4" live-streaming team of EAST BUY; now, all four hosts have left the company.

In response to the collective departure of the hosts, Yu Minhong addressed the issue during a live stream. He stated that he had communicated with the hosts in an attempt to retain them but ultimately respected their decision. He expressed his hope for their smooth career progression and offered his assistance should they need it in the future. Simultaneously, Yu Minhong acknowledged that following recent management adjustments, the company's management approach had deviated, becoming overly focused on institutional control while neglecting humanistic care for the team. This imbalance led to issues within the team atmosphere. He stated that EAST BUY will subsequently optimize its management model, striving to balance institutionalized operations with humanistic care, and address problems related to rigid and high-pressure management practices.
