A significant change in the shareholding position of LEADS BIOLABS-B (09887) was recorded on July 29, according to the latest data from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The total market value of the transferred shares reached HK$746 million, accounting for 7.10% of the company's total shares.
The company's shareholder transferred 3.8287 million shares to Citibank and moved 13.7599 million shares out of China Securities Depository and Clearing Hong Kong.
On July 24, LEADS BIOLABS-B announced that the company had recently received a notice of commitment from Dr. Kang Xiaoqiang, the group's co-founder, chairman, executive director, chief executive officer, and general manager. The notice concerns the voluntary extension of the lock-up period for all 7,874,617 H shares he directly holds.
The original lock-up period was set to end on July 24, 2026. Under the extension commitment, given Dr. Kang Xiaoqiang's continued confidence in the company's long-term growth potential, core competitiveness, and industry prospects, he has pledged to extend the lock-up period for these shares by an additional six months, until January 24, 2027 (inclusive), to support the stability of the company's stock price, maintain confidence in the capital market, and protect the legitimate rights and interests of the company's shareholders, particularly minority shareholders.
During this extended lock-up period, Dr. Kang Xiaoqiang will not directly or indirectly dispose of or otherwise reduce his direct holdings of these shares in any manner.
