Unisound (09678) shares climbed over 5% in Hong Kong trading, currently up 3.89% at 76.15 Hong Kong dollars, with turnover reaching 70.89 million Hong Kong dollars.
On August 13, the company announced the official release of its self-developed medical imaging multimodal large model, "U2-RadiMed," following the earlier launch of the U2-Med large model for the three medical domains. This model is the first in China to deeply integrate medical image understanding, report generation, clinical reasoning, decision-making, and visual question answering into a full-chain imaging AI solution. It supports multimodal mixed input of single or multiple images and text, covering mainstream medical imaging types such as CXR (chest X-ray), CT, and MRI. The system builds six core capabilities: report generation, lesion detection and localization, clinical reasoning, clinical decision-making, general medical VQA, and advanced medical reasoning, enabling a complete workflow from "image viewing to knowledge retrieval to reasoning to conclusion."
The launch of U2-RadiMed marks a significant step for the company, extending its large model capabilities into the more complex and specialized clinical scenario of medical imaging. It further completes the company's medical AI product hierarchy, which spans from a general foundation model to a specialized tri-medical model and now to a medical imaging multimodal model, strengthening its technological leadership in the medical AI field. Looking ahead, the company plans to continue deepening the application and innovation of large models in the broader healthcare sphere, aiming to transform medical imaging AI from a technological breakthrough into a genuine medical productivity tool. This initiative is expected to enhance efficiency and quality for medical institutions while generating long-term value for shareholders.
