Deep News01-15

According to a report by Citi analysts, the scale of WeRide's autonomous taxi fleet could potentially increase to between 2,000 and 3,000 vehicles by the end of this year, with the domestic market expected to contribute approximately 50%-60% of this growth. These analysts further added that by the end of 2026, its overseas autonomous taxi fleet could reach 500 to 1,000 vehicles, which includes over 300 vehicles already deployed in Abu Dhabi. Citi stated that the expansion of the company's domestic autonomous taxi fleet is likely to commence after the first quarter, as the Chinese New Year holiday falls in February. Citi, citing management commentary, indicated that China will remain the strategic focus for this autonomous driving company, given that the addressable market size in China is significantly larger than that of overseas markets.
