Tongguan Gold executes HKD 1.00 million share buy-back, lifts treasury stock to 11.10 million shares

Bulletin Express07-20

Tongguan Gold Group Limited disclosed that it repurchased 542,000 ordinary shares on 20 July 2026 via on-market transactions. The shares were acquired at prices ranging from HKD 1.82 to HKD 1.84, translating into a volume-weighted average cost of HKD 1.84 per share and an aggregate consideration of approximately HKD 1.00 million.

Prior to the transaction, issued shares excluding treasury stock stood at 5.30 billion, with 10.56 million shares held in treasury. Following the buy-back, issued shares outstanding declined by 0.01 % to 5.30 billion, while treasury shares increased to 11.10 million. The company’s total issued share capital remains unchanged at 5.31 billion shares, as the repurchased shares have been retained as treasury stock rather than cancelled.

The repurchase was conducted under a mandate granted on 29 May 2026 that authorises Tongguan Gold to buy back up to 531.37 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now total 11.10 million shares, representing 0.21 % of the company’s issued shares at the time the mandate was approved.

In line with Hong Kong Stock Exchange rules, Tongguan Gold cannot issue new shares or dispose of treasury shares until 19 August 2026, 30 days after the repurchase date.
