Iraq's Prime Minister's media office has stated that a report published by the New York Times on July 23 "has no relation to the facts" and contains claims that are "baseless".
The New York Times reported on Thursday, citing anonymous sources, that Iraqi Prime Minister Al-Sudani had conveyed a U.S. ceasefire proposal during his visit to Tehran, which was subsequently rejected by Iranian authorities.
