Post-90s Generation Accounts for 57.2%, Female Users Reach 22%: XPENG-W's (09868) X9 User Structure Reveals New Growth Paradigm for MPV Market

On January 19, XPeng Inc. (09868) held the "XPeng X9 Super Range User Profile Sharing Session" in Guangzhou. At the event, XPeng product manager Yu Tong stated that the delivery volume of the XPeng X9 in December increased by 289.1% year-over-year, successfully breaking through the traditional user demographics of MPVs and achieving broad reach across different age groups, regions, and interest segments.

Young people have emerged as the main driving force behind purchases, indicating a clear trend towards a younger consumer base. Data reveals that among those purchasing the XPeng X9 Super Range, young buyers are dominant, with the post-90s generation accounting for a significant 57.2% and the post-00s generation making up 13.7%. In contrast, the average proportion of post-00s buyers across the entire MPV industry is merely 2%, highlighting that the average age of XPeng X9 buyers is approximately 10 years younger than the typical MPV user.

Furthermore, female car owners constitute 22% of the users who have chosen the XPeng X9 Super Range, reflecting its strong appeal among family users. Users generally perceive the XPeng X9 as having a "forward-thinking and modern exterior design that avoids looking dated," with its technological features and stylish design being key factors in winning over young families.

The high-end MPV is no longer confined to commercial use but is increasingly transforming into the primary daily transportation for young families. The superior quality, advanced technological configurations, and intelligent experience offered by the XPeng X9 Super Range have exceeded user expectations. Based on current orders, the test-drive conversion rate is remarkably high at 50%, meaning one out of every two test drives results in a purchase, with many customers noting they "hadn't considered buying an MPV before test-driving the XPeng X9."

Approximately 80% of customers trading in or upgrading to the X9 come from the luxury brand segment, with owners of BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Audi (BBA) prominently featuring among the top three sources, which strongly validates the powerful appeal and high product recognition of the XPeng X9 Super Range among premium user groups.
