On April 13, 2026, the 6th China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE) commenced grandly in Haikou, Hainan. TONGCHENGTRAVEL made a significant appearance, showcasing a range of AI-driven travel innovation products. The company highlighted the launch of two specific scenario solutions: the "AI Face-to-Face Translation Screen" and "AI Tour Guide," alongside the 2.0 version of its travel-centric intelligent agent, DeepTrip. This presentation concentrated on demonstrating its latest achievements in positioning for the era of intelligent travel and underscored its commitment to empowering the high-quality development of inbound tourism through innovative technology.

Following the island-wide customs clearance in Hainan, cross-border tourism is encountering fresh development opportunities. As a leading domestic online travel service platform, TONGCHENGTRAVEL, aligning with the expo's core theme of "Openness Leading Global Consumption, Innovation Driving a Better Life," focused on two key directions: inbound tourism and smart cultural tourism. The various AI products introduced are designed to precisely address pain points and challenges within travel scenarios, establishing a comprehensive AI service system that covers "itinerary planning - on-site experience - cross-language communication."

Among the core new products released by TONGCHENGTRAVEL, the DeepTrip 2.0 version has undergone a comprehensive upgrade. It is reported that DeepTrip 2.0, developed based on the company's proprietary AI model, further refines the AI ecosystem from content to transaction, accurately resolving user travel difficulties and collaborating with industry partners to build a shared ecosystem. DeepTrip 2.0 features three main highlights: Firstly, intelligent itinerary planning, offering personalized and flexible plans that generate multi-theme itineraries based on user preferences, supporting free editing, with AI recalculating the optimal route instantly after modifications. Secondly, fuzzy flight search, capable of parsing vague requests and providing the best options within 5 seconds, thereby enhancing decision-making efficiency. Thirdly, a fully open ecosystem, already available on mainstream platforms, supporting deployment without API keys and compatible with various integration modes, fostering collaboration with industry partners to build a travel AI ecosystem.

Furthermore, DeepTrip 2.0 supports interaction in 17 languages and can provide personalized services incorporating local culture, effectively solving pain points for international tourists such as language barriers and cumbersome itinerary planning. This deeply aligns with the "Belt and Road" tourism cooperation initiative, providing robust support for the expansion of the inbound tourism market.

Targeting two specific scenarios—scenic area touring and cross-language communication—TONGCHENGTRAVEL simultaneously launched the "AI Tour Guide" and "AI Face-to-Face Translation Screen" solutions. The AI Tour Guide operates on the service concept of "one phone, one scan,全程AI companionship," offering scenic areas lightweight, zero-renovation, rapidly deployable smart tour services. Without needing to download an app, tourists can scan a code to access high-definition area maps, real-time positioning and navigation, and multi-style voice commentary. It also supports interactive features like AI travel photography, digital stamp collection, and quiz challenges. This addresses core tourist pain points of "not understanding, not hearing, taking wrong routes," while also helping scenic areas reduce operational costs, extend visitor dwell time, and strengthen their digital brand image. It is already deployed in several well-known scenic spots including Hainan's Yanoda Rainforest Cultural Tourism Zone, the Prince Kung's Mansion, Guilin's Elephant Trunk Hill, and Chengdu's Wuhou Shrine.

The AI Face-to-Face Translation Screen focuses on counter-style services and meeting scenarios. Its innovative dual-screen interactive design overcomes the limitations of traditional translation devices, eliminating the need for frequent device passing and enabling more natural, fluid cross-language communication, while also freeing staff's hands and improving communication efficiency. The product boasts a rapid response time of 0.5 seconds, supports over 150 languages and 27 Chinese dialects, covering major global markets. It is widely applicable in scenarios such as hotel front desks, scenic area counters, and exhibition consultation desks, providing instant translation support for global exhibitors, buyers, and tourists. It is particularly suited for international events like the CICPE, aiding the upgrade of international services in the Hainan Free Trade Port.

A representative from TONGCHENGTRAVEL stated that the island-wide customs clearance in Hainan presents significant opportunities for the inbound tourism market. Leveraging its technological R&D capabilities, comprehensive product portfolio, and extensive user base, TONGCHENGTRAVEL will continue to deepen the integrated application of AI technology in travel scenarios. Through innovative products like DeepTrip 2.0, the AI Tour Guide, and the AI Face-to-Face Translation Screen, the company aims to build a more convenient, efficient, and personalized smart travel service system to serve mass tourism consumption in the intelligent era. Concurrently, based on continuous technological innovation and operational practice, it will address challenges in inbound tourism services such as language barriers and insufficient experiential depth, providing technological empowerment for the development of inbound tourism and assisting Chinese cultural tourism in going global.

During the expo, TONGCHENGTRAVEL set up an interactive experience zone, inviting visitors to experience the core functions of its various AI products up close, offering an intuitive feel for the convenience and innovation AI technology brings to travel. Looking ahead, TONGCHENGTRAVEL will continue to invest in R&D, constantly optimize product experience, and deepen cooperation with various parties including scenic areas, hotels, and exhibition organizers. It aims to drive tourism consumption upgrades through technological innovation, create a global smart travel ecosystem, and inject new momentum into the development of the inbound tourism market.

As a major exhibitor in the travel consumption sector at this year's CICPE, TONGCHENGTRAVEL presented a large lineup. Beyond AI products, its business segments including the Hainan Yanoda Rainforest Cultural Tourism Zone, Elong Hotel Technology, TONGCHENGTRAVEL Business Travel, TONGCHENGTRAVEL Vacation, and City Pass were all featured. As the first CICPE held after the full island customs closure operation of the Hainan Free Trade Port, this edition of the expo was jointly hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and the Hainan Provincial People's Government. Centered on the theme "Openness Leading Global Consumption, Innovation Driving a Better Life," the event ran from April 13 to 18. It gathered over 3,400 brands from more than 60 countries and regions, with international exhibits accounting for 65% of the total. The expo also featured the "CICPE New Product Showcase" IP, centrally presenting global debuts, Asia-Pacific premieres, and Chinese first-show results, serving as an important window demonstrating the open vitality of the Hainan Free Trade Port and connecting the Chinese consumer market with the world.
