OpenAI has rolled out its new AI model, GPT-6.1 Sol, only a week after releasing its predecessor, GPT-6 Sol.
The company describes this as a "major upgrade," delivering strong performance in tasks such as professional work, computer use, and agentic coding.
On Monday, OpenAI announced its decision to scrap plans to launch GPT-6.1 Astra, as that model failed to meet its safety standards.
