CONCORD NE (00182) rose more than 6%, with a gain of 6.06% to HK$0.35 at the time of writing, and a turnover of HK$5.6595 million. The increase follows the company's announcement that after the trading session on January 14, 2026, the project owner, a wholly-owned subsidiary, entered into a procurement and construction agreement with the contractor, The Ryan Company. Under the agreement, the project owner will engage the contractor to undertake the project for a contract price of approximately $156 million. The project involves a power generation facility in the United States, comprising approximately 172 megawatts of alternating current solar generation capacity and a related battery energy storage system with a general capacity of about 432 megawatt-hours. The project owner will directly procure certain required equipment, including main power transformers, high-voltage circuit breakers, the battery energy storage system, photovoltaic inverters, and solar modules.
