ENN Energy: BlackRock Adds 0.25 Million Share-Linked Derivatives, Lifting Aggregate Holding to 9.55 Million

On 18 May 2026, BlackRock, Inc. disclosed a series of transactions in derivatives linked to ENN Energy Holdings Ltd. as part of the ongoing privatisation process by scheme of arrangement.

BlackRock entered into 11 new derivative contracts referencing a combined 249,500 ENN Energy shares. Reference prices ranged between USD 59.02 and USD 59.46 per share, bringing the total consideration to approximately USD 4.26 million.

Following the dealings, BlackRock’s resultant interest—counting all shares held directly and through agreements—rose to 9.55 million shares in the offeree company.

Under the Hong Kong Code on Takeovers and Mergers, BlackRock is classified as a class (6) associate of ENN Energy by virtue of its shareholdings, necessitating the disclosure. No maturity dates were specified beyond the execution date of 18 May 2026.
