In 2025, the county's total e-commerce sales increased by 10.5% year-on-year, as e-commerce in Linze empowers the high-quality development of the county's economy.
Linze County has positioned e-commerce as a "key strategy" to activate consumption potential, empower specialty industries, and boost rural revitalization. Focusing on the main lines of "infrastructure upgrades, brand cultivation efficiency, talent team consolidation, and smooth production-marketing linkages," the county has implemented precise policies and achieved breakthroughs on multiple fronts, promoting the deep integration of the e-commerce industry with the county economy.
Infrastructure First, Weaving a "Comprehensive Network" for E-commerce Development. "Before, I had to go to the town to send or receive packages; now there's a station right in the village. I can place an order in the morning, and it can be shipped out in the afternoon—it's incredibly convenient," said Song Changji, a villager from Changzhuang Village in Xinhua Town, pointing to the express delivery station at the village entrance with a smile. This convenience is thanks to the continuously improving logistics and distribution system in Linze County.
Seizing the opportunity presented by JD.com's logistics industry layout, Linze County accelerated the construction of the Zhangye (Danxia) JD 5G Zero-Carbon Smart Logistics Industrial Park. Within the year, the main structures of 8 core warehouses were fully completed, providing sorting and distribution services for 9 express delivery companies, including STO, ZTO, YTO, and Best (Yunda), and J&T Express. Utilizing buses for "deliveries to the countryside" and unmanned delivery vehicles for "door-to-door service," sorted packages are distributed to end stations in 23 urban areas and 71 administrative villages. This has established a three-tier logistics system of "county-level sorting, town-level distribution, and village-level delivery," achieving integrated online sales and offline distribution. The county also upgraded the operation of the "China Specialties · Linze Pavilion," integrating products from 18 enterprises, including Xiyu and Hongqiao, and listing over 280 different products for sale, forming an online store matrix. Relying on community e-commerce platforms like "Linze Zhenmei" and Duoduo Maicai, the county improved supporting facilities for agricultural product storage and delivery, promoted the implementation of the "origin warehouse + cloud warehouse" model, opened a "fast track" for the upward movement of specialty agricultural products, and built a county-wide e-commerce same-city delivery platform, achieving "same-day delivery" and "next-day delivery" for high-quality local products.
Brand Empowerment, Helping "Lin"-Branded Products Reach Far. "Our instant soybean milk powder has been a top seller and highly praised since being listed on the JD.com platform, and our mixed grain gift packages have even reached markets in Beijing and Shanghai," introduced Zhang Ruike, head of the "One Grain" Mixed Grain Station in Liaoquan Town. Leveraging e-commerce platforms and the empowerment of the regional public brand, grain products that were once "hidden away" have successfully entered first-tier city markets like Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou.
Linze County continues to strengthen the "Linze Zhenmei" regional public brand, establishing brand usage standards and guiding enterprises to engage in standardized production, promoting the "three unifications" of product packaging, quality, and labeling. Within the year, 9 new enterprises with 49 product combinations joined the JD Specialties Pavilion, covering categories such as jujube products, corn, goji berries, wine, and freeze-dried products, effectively enhancing the recognition and reputation of "Lin"-branded specialty agricultural products. The county cultivates distinctive product brands, encouraging enterprises to tap into local specialty resources. It promotes companies like the new cooperative Baihui Group to engage in deep processing of specialty agricultural products, developing over 20 new items such as quick-frozen mixed vegetables, which are sold as far as international markets like Japan, thereby increasing product added value.
Talent as the Foundation, Injecting "New Vitality" into Industrial Development. "Through the training, I learned video editing and live-streaming sales. I will study hard next, master the skills of live streaming, and sell our high-quality agricultural products," said Pu Xiulan, a trainee from Yanuan Town. Since the launch of live-streaming initiatives to support agriculture, Linze County has actively integrated resources from the County Vocational Education Center and Chengjun Vocational Training School to create professional e-commerce training bases. Adopting a model of "theoretical foundation + on-site learning + practical drills," the county invited experts from Hexi University and executives from JD Group for specialized coaching, conducting focused training on core skills such as short video production, store operation, online marketing, and cross-border e-commerce. In 2025, the county held 4 specialized e-commerce training sessions, training over 200 participants.
Simultaneously, the county built platforms for exchange and practice, organizing over 50 individuals involved in county online new media and specialty agricultural product businesses to conduct field observation trips outside the county, learning advanced experiences in brand building and integrated "planting-processing-sales" operations. It held discussion and exchange events for e-commerce practitioners and recommended 11 hosts and teams to participate in the 4th Gansu Provincial Live E-commerce Competition, where they won awards such as "Top 100 Short Videos" and the "Short Video New Talent Award," using competition to promote learning and enhance practical skills.
Production-Marketing Linkages, Igniting a "New Engine" for the Consumer Market. "Everyone, look at these Linze Red Globe grapes—plump, sweet, sour, and juicy…" During a live-streaming event with the "Harvest Season" theme, hosts enthusiastically promoted the products right in the fields.
Linze County closely focused on key sales periods like the "New Year Shopping Spree," "Double 11," and "Double 12," regularly conducting 203 online and offline activities such as "Autumn Bargains · Enjoy Year-Round," the "Double Product Online Shopping Festival," and live e-commerce competitions. It coordinated with county supermarkets, e-commerce platforms, and specialty merchants to launch consumer benefits like discounts, rebates, and lucky draws, focusing on key categories such as specialty agricultural products, daily consumer goods, and home appliances/furnishings to create diversified consumption scenarios. Targeting younger consumer groups, the county innovated with "e-commerce + cultural tourism" and "e-commerce + festivals" models. During events like the Danxia Cultural Tourism Festival and the Grape Picking Festival, it hosted themed live-streaming activities like "Harvest Season" and "Double Celebration, Fresh Grape Taste." Over 10 local internet influencers visited fields and production workshops, broadcasting live on platforms like JD.com, Douyin, and Kuaishou. A single session attracted up to 12,000 viewers, generating 3,000 orders, and driving a 6% year-on-year increase in sales of products like Linze small jujubes and grapes. Today, e-commerce has become a vital engine for activating consumption and stimulating growth in Linze County, continuously injecting strong momentum into the high-quality development of the county economy.
