Medtronic Partners with Precision Neuroscience to Develop Brain Surgery Imaging System

Deep News01-14

Medtronic (MDT) shares dipped 0.7% in Tuesday's late trading session. The decline followed the company's announcement of a strategic collaboration agreement with brain-computer interface startup Precision Neuroscience. The partnership aims to integrate Precision's flexible thin-film brain-computer interface, known as Layer 7, with Medtronic's StealthStation surgical navigation system. Together, they will co-develop an intraoperative solution that enables "synchronized structural-functional visualization."
