A giant floral basket themed "Bless the Motherland" was photographed at Tiananmen Square in Beijing on September 25.
This year's basket contains flowers such as peonies, roses, narcissus, and plum blossoms, along with fruits including pomegranates, apples, and persimmons, symbolizing "a profusion of flowers and an abundance of fruits."
The south side of the basket body reads "Bless the Motherland" and "1949-2026," while the north side reads "Celebrate National Day" and "1949-2026."
