On August 28, at the 2026 interim results conference of the Agricultural Bank of China, Executive Director and Vice President Lin Li highlighted that the bank has consistently prioritized risk prevention in inclusive retail lending this year. He noted ongoing enhancements to the credit risk control framework for such loans, aimed at curbing new non-performing assets while accelerating resolution of existing ones, with current asset quality in this segment ranking among the better levels of comparable peers.

Looking ahead to the second half, Lin expressed confidence that the bank's credit asset quality will sustain its positive momentum, with core metrics like the non-performing loan ratio, overdue ratio, and provision coverage ratio expected to remain stable and competitive relative to industry peers. He emphasized that asset quality is the lifeline of banking operations, and that robust risk management in inclusive retail directly influences the bank's overall sound and sustainable development, making effective risk control and compliance prerequisites for high-quality growth.

Lin reiterated that the institution's strategic focus on prudent risk oversight underpins its long-term resilience, ensuring balanced progress across business expansion and financial security.
