MiniMax has released its latest flagship programming model, MiniMax M2.5. The company announced that this production-grade model is natively designed for Agent scenarios and matches top international models in coding and agentic capabilities, positioning it as a direct competitor to Claude Opus 4.6. It supports full-stack programming development for PC, App, and cross-platform applications, achieving state-of-the-art (SOTA) performance in core Office productivity scenarios such as advanced Excel processing, in-depth research, and PowerPoint.

It is reported that the M2.5 model utilizes only 10 billion activated parameters, offering significant advantages in memory usage and inference efficiency. It supports an ultra-high throughput of 100 TPS, with inference speed surpassing that of leading global models.
