To implement the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education and advance curriculum and teaching reform, the Youxian District Furongxi School Zone Education Quality Development Consortium recently held the 2025 Autumn "Fule Classroom" Teaching Competition finals for the school zone. The event, themed "Focusing on the Implementation of 'Double New' and 'Double Reduction', Integrating AI Technology Empowerment, Optimizing Lesson Type Design for Quality Improvement, and Building 'Fule Classroom' for Enhanced Efficiency," aimed to promote teacher professional growth and improve classroom teaching effectiveness through competition-driven research and research-driven training. The event was centrally organized by the leading school, Mianyang Wanda School, with active participation from six member schools in the zone, covering five major subjects: Morality and Rule of Law, Chinese, Mathematics, English, and Science, and was divided into administrative and teacher groups for competitive exchange.

In the competition arena, teachers meticulously prepared and delivered a series of outstanding lessons that embodied the concepts of the new curriculum standards and subject-specific competencies. Ms. Yang Yujie from the Chinese language group taught the first-grade "Unit 5 Review Lesson," systematically organizing the unit's key knowledge points through fun scenarios and gamified activities, with a focus on foundational accumulation and stimulating learning interest.

Ms. Zhou Changrong presented a second-grade new character review lesson titled "Remembering Forebears Between the Lines," skillfully integrating revolutionary traditional education into character recognition teaching, guiding students to appreciate the spirit of their forebears while memorizing new characters.

Ms. Zhang Qianlin focused on the fourth-grade lesson "Seeking the Treasure Chest of Narrative Writing, Gaining Narrative Techniques," using example analysis and method extraction as key approaches to instruct students in building a clear framework and expression strategies for narrative articles.

Ms. Yang Shuting delved deeply into the fifth-grade lesson "Unit 6: Deep Parental Love," guiding students to deeply understand the theme of familial affection and learn related expression techniques through close reading of the text and emotional experience.

Ms. Yu Chunli led fifth-grade students in reviewing the old to understand the new with "Spreading Classics by Word of Mouth—Unit 3 Review," designing interactive sessions involving storytelling and listening to strengthen comprehension and oral transmission of classical passages.

In the Morality and Rule of Law group, Ms. Zhang Huiting taught the third-grade new lesson "Keeping Safety in Mind," closely integrating real-life examples and employing case analysis and group discussions to effectively enhance students' safety awareness and self-protection skills.

Ms. Jiang Xuerong guided fifth-grade students to explore "Beautiful Writing, a National Treasure," vividly showcasing the charm and cultural connotation of Chinese characters through the evolution of Chinese characters and the appreciation of calligraphy art, thereby enhancing students' national pride.

The Mathematics group was equally impressive. Ms. Zhang Ling's review lesson on "Centimeters and Meters" for second graders utilized rich hands-on activities to help students establish accurate concepts of length and measurement skills.

Ms. Wang Xia systematically reviewed "Three-Digit Multiplication by a One-Digit Number," focusing on understanding calculation principles and optimizing calculation strategies.

Ms. Wang Xiaohuan's "Unit Review of Division with a Two-Digit Divisor" was clearly structured, emphasizing the breakthrough of the trial quotient difficulty and cultivating students' ability to solve problems flexibly.

Ms. Wang Xiangmei taught the administrative group's fifth-grade "Review Lesson on Solving Problems by Setting Up Equations," guiding students to abstract mathematical models from practical problems and strengthening the application of equation thinking.

Ms. Wang Yaojun focused on the sixth-grade lesson "Solving Problems with Fraction Multiplication and Division," using comparison and variant training to help students clarify quantitative relationships and enhance comprehensive application abilities.

In the English group activities, Ms. Li Qin taught the third-grade review lesson "Unit 3 Our Animal Friends," creating vivid contextual scenarios to consolidate core vocabulary and sentence patterns through songs and games.

Ms. Yang Hongmei conducted the fourth-grade lesson "Unit 2 My Friends Let's Review," effectively reviewing language expressions for describing friends' characteristics through role-playing and task-based approaches.

Ms. An Xiaochun presented the fifth-grade "Unit 5 Test Paper Review Lesson," focusing on typical incorrect answers for targeted analysis and methodological guidance.

Ms. Shao Chunyu taught the sixth-grade review lesson "Unit 1 In China," designing comprehensive tasks incorporating cultural elements to enhance students' language application and cross-cultural awareness. All lesson examples strived to practice the "Fule Classroom" concept, emphasizing the student-centered approach and the optimization of the learning process.

The teaching competition was well-organized and scientifically evaluated, providing a valuable platform for teachers in the school zone to showcase their talents and exchange skills. Furthermore, through cross-school seminars and exchanges, it effectively promoted the deepening of the "Fule Classroom" model and the effectiveness of school-based teaching research. The event strictly implemented an evaluation mechanism that integrated student self-assessment, peer review, and expert evaluation, ensuring the fairness and professionalism of the selection process.
