SCHOLAR EDU Adds 65,000 Shares to Trust, Citing Undervaluation and Confidence in Outlook

Bulletin Express11-02 20:21

Scholar Education Group (SCHOLAR EDU) disclosed that the trustee of its Share Award Scheme acquired 65,000 company shares on-market on 2 November 2026 at an average price of HK $0.69 per share, for a total consideration of approximately HK $0.05 million. The purchase represents about 0.01% of the company’s issued share capital.

Following the transaction, the trustee holds 53.92 million shares, equivalent to 8.00% of SCHOLAR EDU’s total shares outstanding. The board reiterated its view that the current market valuation does not reflect the group’s underlying fundamentals and sees the repurchase as an opportunity to secure stock for future grants under the Share Award Scheme.

Management will continue to monitor market conditions and determine additional purchases and future share awards at its discretion, subject to the Scheme’s rules and the Trust Deed.
