Klaviyo, Inc. (KVYO) shares dropped 7.88% in after-hours trading on Wednesday, reversing earlier gains from the regular session. The decline came even as the B2C CRM platform reported second-quarter financial results that exceeded analyst expectations.

The company posted Q2 revenue of $370.6 million, beating the consensus estimate of $362.1 million, and raised its full-year revenue guidance. However, the positive results may have been already priced in, or investors focused on the reported net loss of $8.85 million, triggering the sell-off.

Klaviyo also announced the acquisition of Agency, an AI-native customer success company, but the news did not arrest the negative sentiment in extended trading.
