ATHA Energy Discovers Widest Uranium Mineralization Intersection at RIB North Project

ATHA Energy Corp. has released initial drilling findings from its 2026 exploration program at the Angilak uranium project in Nunavut, Canada, achieving the widest mineralization intersection to date at the RIB North discovery zone.

Of the eight holes reported, the first six successfully intersected uranium mineralization, confirming its continuity. Hole RIBN-DD-003, drilled approximately 120 meters northwest of hole RIBN-DD-001, traced the mineralization, intersecting a total composite of 37.0 meters of uranium mineralization across fifteen zones from 541.7 to 652.0 meters depth. This represents the project's widest mineralized intersection so far.

The widest mineralized interval was from 541.7 to 550.2 meters, with a composite length of 8.5 meters averaging 696 CPS and a peak reading of 4,612 CPS. The highest-grade interval was from 571.7 to 576.2 meters, with a 4.5-meter composite length averaging 4,589 CPS and a peak reading reaching 14,773 CPS.

Additionally, hole RIBN-DD-008, drilled on the western flank of the MRC zone about 1 kilometer from the main RIB North discovery, intersected a secondary east-west trending mineralized structure, further expanding the area's exploration potential. ATHA Energy CEO Troy Boisjoli stated these results validate the company's geological model and highlight the significant exploration potential of the Angilak project.
