On June 9th, Xinhua Computer Education, a subsidiary of CHINA EAST EDU (HKG: 00667), and Alibaba Cloud formalized a comprehensive cooperation agreement at Alibaba's Xixi Campus in Hangzhou. The partnership aims to achieve deep collaboration across the entire AI comic production workflow, exploring innovative applications of AIGC technology within the comic creation chain. Alibaba Cloud's "One Moment, Ten Thousand Mirrors" one-stop AI comic creation platform will be fully deployed across Xinhua Computer Education's affiliated institutions, jointly empowering new scenarios for automated AI comic content production.
The agreement was signed by Deng Xinghua, Executive Deputy General Manager of the Computer Division of China East Education Group, on behalf of Xinhua, and Yang Di, Product General Manager of Alibaba Cloud's "One Moment, Ten Thousand Mirrors," on behalf of Alibaba Cloud.
Targeting the AI Comic Arena, Academia and Industry Unite to Cultivate Talent
Prior to the signing ceremony, a delegation from Xinhua Computer Education toured the Alibaba No. 9 Pavilion exhibition hall, gaining in-depth insights into Alibaba's core business layout and technological foundation. In a subsequent thematic discussion, Alibaba Cloud presented an intelligent solution covering the entire short-form comic production chain. Centered on a "model + platform + tools + ecosystem" approach, this solution aims to advance AI short-form comics from simple generation to large-scale production.
Yang Di, Product General Manager for "One Moment, Ten Thousand Mirrors," outlined the platform's core capabilities: "Users simply issue instructions as if chatting, and multiple AI agents collaborate to complete all tasks from storyboarding to generating high-quality visuals. No professional background is needed—the AI automatically breaks down scenes and generates the artwork. This represents an industrialized production model."
Deploying "One Moment, Ten Thousand Mirrors" in Academia, Co-developing Curricula for Versatile Talent
Under the agreement, Xinhua Computer Education will fully introduce and implement the "One Moment, Ten Thousand Mirrors" platform, deeply integrating Alibaba Cloud's film-grade AIGC industrialized content production system into its daily teaching. Leveraging the platform's powerful AI capabilities and Alibaba's proprietary large model technology, the teaching models for AI comic-related majors will be restructured. This will enable students to access mainstream industry-standard practical tools while still in school, mastering cutting-edge AIGC creation skills.
Curriculum co-development is a central component of the collaboration. Alibaba Cloud will provide Xinhua Computer Education with forward-looking guidance on artificial intelligence and large model industry developments, along with tailored AI practical training courses. The two parties will jointly refine a curriculum system aligned with industry demands, bridging the gap between theoretical learning and real-world application, thereby helping students develop into versatile talents equipped with both creative abilities and digital skills.
Pilot Launch at Three Campuses, Establishing a Benchmark for Digital-Intelligent Education Cooperation
During the signing ceremony, Alibaba Cloud officially presented plaques designating three institutions—Shijiazhuang Xinhua, Beijing Xinhua, and Fuzhou Xinhua—as "Digital-Intelligent Education Cooperation Campuses." These three campuses signed specific cooperation agreements, becoming the first batch of pilot sites for deep implementation. Moving forward, these campuses will be prioritized for the deployment of the "One Moment, Ten Thousand Mirrors" practical training platform, the new curriculum system, and teacher training programs, aiming to create a replicable and scalable model for integrating AI comic production with education.
Following the signing ceremony, both parties held in-depth discussions on implementation details such as curriculum co-development, enhancement of faculty capabilities, and the operation of practical training bases, clarifying a phased cooperation roadmap for subsequent stages. Beyond teaching and practical training, the collaboration will leverage the respective strengths of both parties to engage in comprehensive, deep cooperation across areas including major upgrades, the construction of practical training platforms, and targeted talent placement.
