China's A-share Market Opens Lower with Dawning Information Industry Co.,Ltd. Hitting Limit Down

At 09:25, China's A-share market opened lower across the board. The Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.21%, the Shenzhen Component Index dropped 0.20%, and the ChiNext Index declined 0.26%.

Sector-wise, computing hardware concept stocks weakened while retail shares strengthened. Fujian local stocks continued to gain momentum.

In individual stocks, Dawning Information Industry Co.,Ltd. (603019) hit the daily limit-down, and Hygon Information Technology fell over 3%. The decline followed announcements by both companies late on December 9 to terminate their previously planned major asset restructuring.

At 09:22, Hong Kong's Hang Seng Tech Index opened 0.04% lower. The Hang Seng Index edged up slightly at opening. Technology stocks showed mixed performance—Meituan, Baidu, and SMIC rose, while NetEase, BYD Electronic, and Kingsoft weakened.
