On December 11, the "Beautiful Xinxiang · Green Development" event—marking the delivery of 100 and the milestone of 1,000 new energy concrete mixer trucks—was successfully held in Xinxiang, Henan. The event was hosted by the Xinxiang Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau and organized by the Xinxiang Concrete Testing Association, with co-organization by CIMC Vehicles DTB Mixer Business Group, FAW Jiefang Group Co., Ltd., and Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL).
Attendees included Xinxiang Vice Mayor Li Haichao, Deputy Secretary-General Zhang Fuyin, Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau Director Yang Qingfeng, as well as leaders from the Municipal Ecology and Environment Bureau, Transportation Bureau, and Urban Management Bureau. Representatives from county-level environmental protection departments, Xinxiang Concrete Testing Association President Lang Bingzi, CIMC Vehicles DTB Mixer Business Group Vice President Zhang Minfu, FAW Jiefang New Energy Vehicle Product Line PDT General Manager Bian Haidong, and CATL Heavy Industry Division Regional Director Gao Zhihao were also present, along with over 100 industry guests.
The event showcased a grand display of over 100 new energy mixer trucks jointly developed by CIMC Vehicles DTB, FAW Jiefang, and CATL, arranged in a striking formation. The vehicles prominently featured "Zero Emissions · High Efficiency" branding, reinforcing the concept of low-carbon transformation.
In his opening remarks, Xinxiang Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau Director Yang Qingfeng emphasized the city's commitment to green urban development. Deputy Secretary-General Zhang Fuyin highlighted the event as a key initiative in implementing China's "dual carbon" strategy, addressing pollution and noise issues from traditional diesel mixer trucks. He praised the collaboration between government and enterprises in advancing green transportation solutions and recognized the leadership role of CIMC Vehicles, FAW Jiefang, and CATL in this transition.
Representatives from CIMC Vehicles DTB, FAW Jiefang, and CATL each delivered speeches, reaffirming their commitment to deepening strategic cooperation in new energy and intelligent technologies. They pledged to continue innovating customer-centric solutions to meet industry demands.
Xinxiang Concrete Testing Association President Lang Bingzi spoke on "Choosing Trust · Creating Value—Partnering for Industry Advancement" and presented Luoyang CIMC Lingyu Automotive Co., Ltd. with the title of "Xinxiang Concrete Testing Association President Unit."
The ceremony culminated with the symbolic handover of golden keys and the unveiling of a scroll marking the official deployment of 100 new energy mixer trucks in Xinxiang. Attendees later explored the vehicles' lightweight cabins and intelligent controls, with many praising their low-noise operation and ease of use.
This event marks a significant step in Xinxiang's green transformation, aligning with national carbon reduction goals and enhancing urban air quality.
