CITIC Telecom Reports Annual Profit of HK$920 Million, Up 1.1%

CITIC Telecom (01883) has announced its financial results for the year ended December 31, 2025. The group recorded total revenue of HK$9.567 billion, representing a slight decrease of 0.1% compared to the previous year. Profit attributable to shareholders amounted to HK$920 million, marking a 1.1% year-on-year increase. Basic earnings per share stood at HK24.9 cents. The company proposed a final dividend of HK13.0 cents per share for 2025.

During the fiscal year ended December 31, 2025, revenue from telecommunications services reached HK$7.951 billion, a decline of 1.2% or HK$94 million from the prior year. This reduction was primarily attributed to decreases in enterprise business, internet services, and fixed-line voice revenue, although the drop was partially offset by growth in mobile communication services and international telecommunications operations.

Additionally, revenue from the sale of mobile phones and equipment totaled HK$1.616 billion for the year, an increase of 5.8% or HK$88 million compared to the previous year.
