A business event titled "Creating the Future Together" was held in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (BDA), also known as Beijing E-Town, on July 29, featuring a dedicated Commercial Aerospace Open Day. The event attracted nearly 100 companies from the upstream and downstream supply chain of the commercial aerospace sector, as well as financial institutions, all based in the area.
During the event, the BDA's Robotics and Intelligent Manufacturing Industry Bureau, the China Aerospace Standardization and Product Assurance Institute, and JD Industrial signed a cooperation memorandum to jointly build and operate the country's first commercial aerospace product reliability platform, named the Beijing Rocket Avenue Commercial Aerospace Product Reliability Platform. The three parties will leverage aerospace high-reliability technologies and JD Industrial's internationally leading supply chain capabilities to offer aerospace companies safer, more reliable, and comprehensive product supplies.
According to reports, the Beijing Rocket Avenue Commercial Aerospace Product Reliability Platform is coordinated and deployed by the BDA. It is scheduled to officially launch soon and aims to provide commercial aerospace companies with a full-chain digital supply chain service that covers supplier selection and recommendation, quality risk screening, genuine product assurance, and intelligent fulfillment. Once operational, the platform will utilize JD Industrial's million-level SKU product database and the certification expertise of the Aerospace Standardization Institute to enhance efficiency and reduce costs for the commercial aerospace industry across dimensions such as category quality, delivery performance, and industry solutions.
At the event, company representatives visited the Beijing Rocket Avenue Commercial Aerospace Public Service Platform. They toured exhibits on the history of commercial aerospace development, technological innovations in commercial rockets and satellites, and commercial aerospace application scenarios, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the area's development achievements and industrial chain layout in the commercial aerospace sector. Currently, the BDA is home to over 75% of China's commercial rocket integrators, and it has the highest concentration of internet satellite companies nationwide. The local industrial chain covers the entire spectrum, including complete rockets, complete satellites, subsystems, components, and satellite applications. In 2025, the "Yizhuang Rocket" successfully completed 24 launches, carrying more than 160 satellites, which accounts for over 80% of the country's commercial rocket launches.
Recognizing the industry direction also requires policy support. The event focused on the development needs of the commercial aerospace industry, integrating the efforts of multiple departments including the Business Environment Construction Bureau, the Organization and Personnel Department, the Science and Technology and Industry Promotion Bureau, and the Commerce and Finance Bureau. Policy briefings were conducted on key elements such as the business environment, talent attraction and cultivation, scientific innovation support, and investment and financing. On-site, the BDA also coordinated with several financial institutions to provide on-site services, customizing investment and financing support packages for aerospace companies. Regarding the full-chain policy supply, from government services to industrial cultivation, a representative from Shanghai Xijia Hangyu Power Technology Co., Ltd. stated, "The policies are very specific. We can find corresponding support based on our development stage, which gives us the confidence to take on large orders and expand production capacity."
With policies in place, cooperation still depends on companies meeting directly. During the project roadshow segment, leading commercial aerospace companies like GalaxySpace showcased their latest explorations in the era of space innovation. Representatives from companies planning cross-sector expansion into the commercial aerospace field, such as Yandong Microelectronics, JD Industrial, NAURA Technology Group, and BOE Technology Group, took the stage to present their technical advantages and collaboration needs for entering the aerospace sector. Through this two-way interactive model of "leading companies announcing needs + cross-sector companies showcasing capabilities," supply chain supporting enterprises met face-to-face with potential suppliers from fields like electronic information and intelligent manufacturing, sparking collaboration opportunities. A representative from GalaxySpace noted, "The administrative procedures are simple and efficient, and the industrial ecosystem is clearly clustered. Upstream and downstream partners are right next to us. As a commercial aerospace company rooted in E-Town, we can feel the ecosystem continuously improving. This open day brought together the supply chain and cross-sector partners, helping us connect with new collaboration resources and further strengthening our confidence in long-term development here."
Responding to enterprise demands was a consistent theme throughout the event. Prior to the event, the BDA's Business Welcome Center collected over 40 specific demands from companies through multiple channels. On-site, business welcome specialists provided one-on-one advisory services for matters such as policy applications and equity capital increases, ensuring a closed-loop service mechanism of "pre-event needs gathering, in-event connection, and post-event follow-up" to guarantee that corporate demands are effectively addressed. A representative from JD Industrial commented, "This open day was able to integrate such a wealth of industrial, policy, and financial resources, providing a clear service path. It gives us more confidence in our layout within the commercial aerospace sector." Going forward, the BDA will regularly hold industrial supply-demand matchmaking events, open up channels for resource sharing across the industrial chain, continuously optimize policy supply, gather high-quality resources, and upgrade service experiences. The goal is to accelerate the creation of a commercial aerospace cluster featuring "thousands of enterprises collaborating, thousands of satellites in orbit, and billions in revenue," striving to build a new world-class landmark for aerospace industry innovation and development.
