Tokyo's January CPI Growth Hits Lowest Since March 2022

Government data released on Friday showed that Tokyo's core Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose 2.0% year-on-year in January. The median forecast from economists was for a 2.2% increase. This data includes petroleum products but excludes fresh food prices.
