Flat Glass Group Co.,Ltd.'s Jiaxing base gas supply pipeline project (Xiuzhou First Station - Yunhe Road Plant Area) has recently received approval from the provincial government, which will inject new vitality into Jiaxing's energy supply and economic development.
The gas supply pipeline project encompasses one main route divided into three construction sections, involving two key stations - the No.1 gas receiving station and the No.3 Yunhe Road plant gate station, along with one No.2 valve chamber. The project requires a total investment of 225 million yuan and covers a total land area of 5.57 acres, including 4.52 acres of new construction land. The new construction land quota is fully guaranteed by Xiuzhou District, establishing a solid foundation for the project's smooth advancement.
A major highlight of this project is the pioneering direct gas supply pilot model for large industrial users, marking a first in the province. As a leading enterprise in the industry, Flat Glass Group Co.,Ltd. has substantial natural gas consumption that continues to grow annually. Based on this characteristic, the Jiaxing base gas supply pipeline project innovatively combines the agency transmission pilot with enterprise-built dedicated gas supply lines, breaking through traditional supply model limitations to enable direct gas supply from the national pipeline network to the enterprise's production base.
This innovative approach will generate significant economic benefits. After the project becomes operational, it is expected to reduce the company's annual gas costs by up to 200 million yuan, substantially alleviating the enterprise's burden, enhancing its market competitiveness, and providing strong support for sustainable development.
Flat Glass Group Co.,Ltd., leveraging its corporate strength and industry position, has obtained the direct gas supply pilot qualification from Zhejiang Provincial Natural Gas Pipeline Network Co., Ltd.'s Hangzhou-Jiaxing Line Xiuzhou Station. Currently, the near-term gas transmission volume is approximately 460 million cubic meters per year, with long-term planning reaching 600 million cubic meters per year. Such large-scale and stable natural gas supply not only meets the company's growing energy demands but also provides solid energy security for Jiaxing's economic construction.
