Dollar Continues Decline Amid Oil Price Drop as Market Hopes for Iran Talks Extension

During Asian morning trading, the U.S. dollar extended its decline against major currencies as oil prices fell, with market participants hopeful that the deadline for U.S.-Iran negotiations may be extended.

The euro rose 0.2% against the dollar to 1.1616.

The Australian dollar gained 0.3% against the dollar to 0.6994.

The dollar fell slightly by 0.1% against the yen to 159.44.

WTI futures dropped more than 4%.
