CONANT OPTICAL (02276) Surges Over 5% as Smart Glasses Sales Boom During Double 11; Analysts Remain Bullish on Supply Chain Positioning

Stock News11-17

CONANT OPTICAL (02276) rose more than 5%, with shares up 4.05% to HK$52 at the time of writing, recording a turnover of HK$55.15 million.

The rally follows industry data showing robust sales in the smart glasses category during the Double 11 shopping festival. According to an Analysys report, smart glasses sales surged 25-fold year-on-year as of October 30, ranking among the top three trending 3C digital products on Tmall.

Notably, CONANT OPTICAL's Quark AI Glasses S1, for which it serves as the exclusive lens supplier, topped Tmall's smart glasses brand, store, and XR category sales charts during the presale period, with cumulative sales exceeding 5,000 units.

Huachuang Securities noted that over half of the top 20 best-selling XR devices were priced below RMB 4,000, indicating smart glasses are transitioning from niche gadgets to mainstream consumer products. The brokerage highlighted CONANT OPTICAL's first-mover advantage and strong technological barriers in XR, expecting the company to further strengthen its competitive edge as the industry evolves.

Additionally, the company's Japanese factory is expected to commence operations in Q4, adding 600,000 units of customized lens capacity. This expansion may further reduce tariff costs for its U.S. business.
