Citigroup: XIAOMI-W's YU7 GT Specifications Attractive, Maintains "Buy" Rating

Citigroup has issued a research report, assigning XIAOMI-W (01810) a target price of HK$37 with a "Buy" rating. XIAOMI held a new product launch event on May 21, featuring the YU7 GT as the highlight, alongside the introduction of the YU7 standard version and the Xiaomi 17 Max. The YU7 GT has a suggested retail price of 389,900 yuan and boasts approximately 1,000 horsepower, presenting attractive specifications. The report notes that the newly launched YU7 standard version is priced at 233,500 yuan, which is expected to target the SUV market segment in the 200,000 to 250,000 yuan range. Overall, the bank believes that the more accessible pricing strategy and the increase in available SKUs will effectively stimulate a recovery in order volumes, improve capacity utilization, and potentially enhance market sentiment towards the electric vehicle business.
