CENTRALCHINA MT (09982), which had been suspended from trading since April 2, 2024, resumed trading after over 20 months. The stock soared nearly 64% in the morning session. As of press time, it was up 38.18% at HK$0.152, with a turnover of HK$24.93 million.
The company announced on the evening of December 19 that it had fulfilled the resumption conditions, including publishing all outstanding financial results and addressing audit modifications. To date, the group has fully recovered the principal of RMB750 million in loans extended to multiple property developers, while RMB53 million in outstanding interest remains unpaid. The company has instructed legal counsel to review and pursue recovery of the unpaid interest.
