January 28: National Average Wholesale Pork Price at 18.72 Yuan/kg, Up 0.3% from Yesterday

On January 28, the "Agricultural Product Wholesale Price Index 200" stood at 130.51, marking an increase of 0.12 points from the previous day, while the "Basket of Food" product wholesale price index reached 133.49, up 0.16 points from yesterday.

As of 14:00 today, the national average wholesale price for pork in agricultural product markets was 18.72 yuan per kilogram, rising 0.3% compared to yesterday; beef was priced at 66.16 yuan/kg, up 0.2%; mutton cost 64.12 yuan/kg, increasing 0.8%; eggs were 8.56 yuan/kg, up 0.6%; and dressed chicken was 17.16 yuan/kg, down 0.5%.

The average price for 28 key monitored vegetables was 5.60 yuan per kilogram, a slight decrease of 0.2% from yesterday, while the average price for 6 key monitored fruits was 7.96 yuan/kg, up 0.4%.

Crucian carp was priced at 19.32 yuan/kg, down 0.6%; common carp cost 13.99 yuan/kg, falling 0.2%; silver carp was 10.40 yuan/kg, dropping 0.9%; and large hairtail was 42.39 yuan/kg, declining 0.4%.

Among the 46 key varieties monitored in domestic fresh agricultural product wholesale markets today, the top five items with the largest price increases compared to yesterday were cabbage, onions, Kyoho grapes, zucchini, and watermelon, with gains of 4.3%, 3.3%, 1.8%, 1.6%, and 1.2%, respectively.

The top five items with the largest price decreases were asparagus lettuce, cowpeas, potatoes, white radish, and pineapple, with declines of 4.6%, 2.6%, 2.3%, 2.3%, and 1.9%, respectively.
