On Monday, travel concept stocks, including airlines and cruise lines, experienced a collective upswing. Carnival (CCL.US) led the gains, climbing over 5%, followed by JetBlue Airways (JBLU.US), which rose more than 4%. United Airlines (UAL.US) and Southwest Airlines (LUV.US) also advanced, gaining nearly 4%, while Royal Caribbean Cruises (RCL.US) increased by over 2%. The positive momentum follows remarks on Sunday from U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson, who expressed confidence in securing Republican support to end the shutdown for most government agencies within days. Furthermore, the House is scheduled to debate reforms on immigration and Customs enforcement in the subsequent two weeks.
