Oil Price Adjustment Imminent: Three Hours to Go! (Including Maximum Retail Prices for Gasoline and Diesel Across Regions)

Deep News05-08 21:22

Since the domestic refined oil price cut on April 21, international crude oil prices have experienced significant volatility. After a sharp rise earlier, prices have recently retreated somewhat. The average price over the 10 working days preceding this adjustment is higher than the average over the 10 working days before the previous adjustment. Based on changes in international oil market prices, starting at 24:00 on May 8, the domestic prices for gasoline and diesel (standard products) will increase by 320 yuan and 310 yuan per ton respectively. Companies including PetroChina, Sinopec, and CNOOC, along with other crude oil processing enterprises, are required to organize the production and distribution of refined oil products to ensure stable market supply and strictly implement national pricing policies. Relevant departments across all regions should intensify market supervision and inspection efforts, strictly investigate and punish any violations of national pricing policies, and maintain normal market order. Consumers can report any price violations through the 12315 platform. As an example, filling a 50-liter tank with 92-octane gasoline will cost approximately 12.5 yuan more.
