Provincial Education Department and Alibaba Group Join Forces for Donation Event at Mao Anying School

The Provincial Education Department, in partnership with Alibaba Group (NYSE: BABA), held a charitable donation event today at Mao Anying School in Kuandian Manchu Autonomous County.

Wang Qingdong, Party Secretary and Director of the Provincial Education Department and Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Education Working Committee in charge of routine work, Zhang Dan, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, Huang Guijing, Senior Vice President of Alibaba Cloud Education, and Cao Jian, General Manager of DingTalk and Qianwen Office Education, attended the donation event.

At the donation ceremony, Alibaba Group (NYSE: BABA), through its "Youth Cloud Education Assistance Program" and the Alibaba Public Welfare Foundation, provided Mao Anying School with support valued at over 1.5 million yuan, including AI cloud classrooms, AI homework rapid correction devices, AI evidence-based teaching and research systems, and other intelligent software and hardware, as well as related teacher training.

In his speech, Wang Qingdong stated that Alibaba Group (NYSE: BABA) donating high-quality digital education resources and intelligent teaching equipment to the school is both a vivid practice of supporting rural education revitalization and a concrete manifestation of the province's "AI + Education" reform achievements extending to border areas. He expressed hope that the school would leverage its revolutionary heritage to promote the deep integration of artificial intelligence and revolutionary education, incorporate the great spirit of resisting US aggression and aiding Korea into the entire educational process, and forge an innovative development path of "AI + Education" that suits the characteristics of its border location and highlights the features of a heroic school.

A representative of Alibaba Group (NYSE: BABA) stated in their speech that the company would rely on its technological and resource advantages to continuously deepen practical cooperation with Liaoning's education sector, allowing technology-enabled education to take root and flourish in this vibrant land.

After the donation ceremony, attendees visited the AI cloud classroom to gain firsthand understanding of the application of digital teaching resources.

Zhang Dan expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Provincial Education Department for its long-term care and guidance for Dandong's education cause, and thanked Alibaba Group (NYSE: BABA) for its charitable donation to schools in border areas and its dedicated support for digital education resources.
