On the evening of August 25, 2024, the National Summer "Village Gala" Longfeng Demonstration Event was held in Longfeng Village, Shangxing Town, Liyang City, Jiangsu Province. The event, guided by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism's Public Service Department and organized by the Liyang Economic Development Zone Management Committee, was livestreamed by the National Public Cultural Cloud platform. Before the broadcast, the platform's official WeChat account released a program lineup.
Notably, many performer names and their order in the lineup matched those in the "10,000 Names" document. For example, the opening performance, "Welcome to Liyang," listed nine performers from the "Longfeng Village Art Troupe": Yang Yiling, Lin Yarong, Li Jiawei, Chen Haoqian, Yang Yuting, Zhang Wangru, Li Yanzhi, Zhang Yamei, and Guo Yuwei. These names and their sequence were identical to the first nine names in the "10,000 Names" document.
Similarly, the fifth performance, "Dragon Peak Poetry in Dance," featured 12 performers whose names closely aligned with those in the document, differing by only one character.
The National Public Cultural Cloud's WeChat account noted that the "final program lineup may differ from the actual live performance." Local media reported that the event was a success, attracting 11,000 on-site visitors and 250,000 online viewers. The lively performances, including folk dances, poetry recitals, and intangible cultural heritage displays, received enthusiastic applause from the audience.
