Playmates Toys Reports 120,000-Share Buyback; Outstanding Share Count Steady at 1.14 Billion

Playmates Toys Limited filed a Next Day Disclosure Return on 7 September 2026, confirming no change to its issued share capital, which remains at 1.14 billion ordinary shares of HK$0.01 each as of the same date.

Between 24 August and 7 September 2026, the company repurchased a cumulative 1.25 million shares for cancellation, equivalent to approximately 0.11% of the current issued share base. The latest transaction, executed on 7 September, involved 120,000 shares bought on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at HK$0.47 apiece, for a total consideration of HK$0.06 million.

Under the general mandate approved on 22 May 2026, Playmates Toys is authorised to repurchase up to 117.03 million shares. To date, the company has acquired 24.10 million shares under this authority, utilising 2.06% of the mandate capacity.

All shares acquired have been earmarked for cancellation; the repurchases do not result in any treasury share holdings. A 30-day moratorium on new share issues or sales of treasury shares is in effect until 7 October 2026, in accordance with Hong Kong Stock Exchange regulations.
