Haikou Comprehensive Bonded Zone has announced positive developments in its foreign trade growth. Key enterprises within the zone, Richmont Trade (Hainan) Co., Ltd. and China National Machinery Industry Corporation (Hainan) Development Co., Ltd., have successfully obtained the AEO Advanced Certification. This achievement designates them as the latest enterprises in the zone to receive this prestigious accreditation. With these additions, the total number of AEO-certified enterprises in Haikou Comprehensive Bonded Zone has reached 18.
AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) certification represents the highest level of credit recognition awarded by Chinese Customs to enterprises. According to the "Measures for the Administration of Credit Management of Enterprises Registered and Filed with Customs of the People's Republic of China," AEO Advanced Certification signifies the top tier in the enterprise credit management system and serves as a crucial indicator of a company's compliance management and creditworthiness. Upon obtaining this certification, enterprises can benefit from a range of facilitations domestically, including lower inspection rates, priority processing, and simplified procedures. Additionally, they enjoy customs clearance conveniences in mutual recognition countries and regions, which helps further enhance their international competitiveness.
During the certification cultivation process, the Administrative Committee of Haikou Comprehensive Bonded Zone and Macun Port Customs provided proactive support, actively assisting the enterprises in their preparatory work. Through close collaboration and a combined approach of "policy briefings + mock certifications + on-site guidance," they offered tailored, one-on-one coaching to the companies. A comprehensive evaluation was conducted across four key dimensions: internal controls, financial status, regulatory compliance, and trade security, enabling the enterprises to make targeted improvements and lay a solid foundation for successfully passing the certification audit.
