China Merchants Bank Files for $5 Billion Medium-Term Note Program Listing on Hong Kong Exchange

On April 2, China Merchants Bank announced that its $5 billion medium-term note program was established by its Hong Kong branch on May 28, 2014.

The bank has submitted an application to The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited for the program to be listed within a 12-month period starting from April 2, 2026. Under this program, notes will be issued solely to professional investors, as defined in Chapter 37 of the Hong Kong exchange's listing rules.

The listing of the program is expected to take effect on April 8, 2026.
