In 2025, the added value of China's "new industries, new business forms, and new business models" (the "New Three" economy) reached 257,869 billion yuan. Calculated at current prices, this represented a year-on-year increase of 6.2%, which was 2.2 percentage points higher than the growth rate of the gross domestic product (GDP) at current prices during the same period.

This added value accounted for 18.39% of the GDP, an increase of 0.38 percentage points compared to the previous year.
